When are IRB meetings and submission deadlines?
- The IRB meets at 8:00 AM on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month.
- Protocol submissions for an IRB meeting are due on the 10th and 25th of the month (except for November and December). (If this date is a weekend or holiday, the deadline is the next working day.
When do IRB Fees apply?
- If you have an external funding agency, you will be invoiced. Initial review fee is $1,750.00 and Continuing Reviews (renewals) are $500.00. Previous Fee amounts were incorrect.
Does WVU have a federalwide assurance?
- Yes and the Federalwide Assurance number is FWA00005078.
- This assurance was approved on March 13, 2009 and is valid until March 13, 2012. Click here for a copy of the FWA documentation.
