IRB MEETING DATES & DEADLINES FOR QUORUM REVIEW

The IRB meets at 8:00 AM the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, with the deadline being one week prior to the meeting date. Below are the meeting dates and deadlines for 2009:

• September 2 deadline for September 9 meeting
• September 16 deadline for September 23 meeting
• October 7 deadline for October 14 meeting
• October 21 deadline for October 28 meeting
• November 4 deadline for November 11 meeting
• November 11 deadline for November 18 meeting
• December 2 deadline for December 9 meeting
• December 9 deadline for December 16 meeting

Full-Board (Quorum) Review:

Protocols requiring quorum review will be reviewed at regularly scheduled IRB meetings (which occur on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month). All material must reach the compliance office by the deadline date.

In the case of amendments involving major changes which require quorum review, the same rules will be followed.

Expedited Review:

This category can be submitted at any time. If the protocol qualifies for expedited review, the staff will notify the investigator 7-10 business days after submission.
