IRB Required Training
Human Subject Research Training through the CITI program is required by all research personnel listed on a research study.
The Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) at West Virginia University have approved the use of the CITI training program for all individuals involved in human subject research. There are three training options to choose from, one for biomedical research investigators one for social & behavioral research investigators and one for IRB members.

If you have taken the training at a previous institution and now you are doing research at West Virginia University, you will need to complete the Refresher Course in order for us to have record of your training.
